Those who were at school for Activities Week had a jam-packed week including team circuits in the playground, inventing our own board games and some amazing art workshops at Yardley Hastings and Denton Village Primary School.
We learnt all about the life of Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo, and practised lots of painting skills including colour mixing, brushstroke techniques and producing different shades and hints of a colour. We then planned out our own self portraits, inspired by Frida Kahlo, using surreal collage techniques to show our different interests.
We finished by viewing a gallery of all our artwork and giving each other constructive feedback on what we like and what we would do differently next time.
