Our Mexico Tourism Films

In our topic work this half term, we have produced our own tourism videos on Mexico. We learnt about different camera angles and practised various filming techniques on the iPads. We discussed how to use a tripod for panning and tilting the camera and made makeshift tripods from classroom equipment (including music stands, chairs, books, etc.)

We planned our own films using storyboards and Chromebooks to research facts on Mexico. Finally, we filmed and edited these using Clipchamp, with a variety of editing techniques including overlaying music, transitions, cropping, adding graphics and writing subtitles. We were very excited to view the finished films and give constructive feedback to each other.
