Celebrating the Coronation

Class 4 enjoyed dressing up in red, white and blue for the Coronation celebrations at school. Several people wore flags, hats, crowns and coronation t-shirts. We learned about King Charles III and discussed the things he has achieved previously (such as his charity work and interest in climate change). We went on to create crowns showing the expectations we have of the new King. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a taking part in a class Coronation quiz and decorated crown-shaped biscuits with jewels (or sweets).
