To finish our Science topic of 'Living Things and their Habitats', we travelled to Oxford to visit their Museum of Natural History.
We began the trip by investigating the incrediblly wide variety of organisms on display around the huge main hall.
Then, we were lucky enough to have a special 'Bug Hunt' session with Chris from the Museum who specialises in bugs and insects. As you can see below, we handles Madagascan hissing cockroaches and came face to face with a luminescent scorpion, 'Blossom' Mantis and a very friendly Mexican red-knee tarantula!
