I'm Alive!

This week we have started our new topic 'I'm Alive!' whilst still learning virtually! The children have started researching different animals and what their habitats looks like. We have explored where the animals might live in the world and what makes them unique. Also, we have looked at music by the 'Carnival of Animals' where the children had to consider the pitch and tempo of the music and how this relates to the different animals.

We have also looked at shape poems especially in the form of animals. The children have mapped up their texts and changed parts of the model text to create their own. The finished poems have been outstanding and the children have performed them to family members beautifully! Finally, the children have been exploring different animal patterns in art using a range of media.

Keep up the amazing work, Class 2! :)
