At Yardley Hastings Primary School we believe in developing the whole child; this includes supporting children to develop good mental health and wellbeing as they progress through our school.
We work closely with MHST: Mental Health Support Team (Children and Young People) - NHFT | West Northamptonshire Council
Mental Health Support Teams have been created to offer early intervention, low intensity, mental health support within schools for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
If you feel that your child would benefit from accessing mental health support within school please speak to your child's class teacher, or to our Mental Health Lead, Miss Hayfield.
Please see below the dates and times MHST will be in school during the Autumn Term:
Wednesday 15th October – 6pm (Class 1 parents)
MHST will present their Reception programme to parents before the Early Years Curriculum evening begins.
Monday 20th October – 3.30-5pm (During Parents Evening, there will be a stall in the hall and members of MHST to have an informal chat with)
Reception Programme - All of these sessions will run 2.15-3.10pm at Yardley School.
