Tremendous Transport!

This term, our topic is 'Tremendous Transport'. We have been exploring how cars are made and how they move using wheels and axels. We have used a range of art mediums to create hot air balloons whilst experimenting with colour. Also, we have completed a transport survey to see the types of transport that is in our village. The children completed a tally chart and recorded their data on a pictogram. We have been looking at directions and how to navigate ourselves on a journey using key compass directions. Finally, we have experimented with a car on different materials to see friction in action! This will help us think about how we are going to create our own cars after half term!
