Class 3 marks an important stage in pupils’ development as they move into Key Stage 2 and begin to develop greater independence and confidence as learners. In Class 3, we focus on building strong foundations in learning behaviours, knowledge and skills, while nurturing curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Our approach encourages pupils to take increasing responsibility for their work, organise themselves effectively and develop positive learning habits. Children are supported to become resilient learners who are willing to persevere, ask questions and reflect on their progress. Clear routines and high expectations help pupils feel secure and confident as they rise to new challenges.
We place great importance on developing communication, collaboration and social skills. Pupils are encouraged to work thoughtfully with others, show respect and take pride in their achievements. Through a broad and engaging curriculum, children are supported to deepen their understanding and apply their learning in meaningful ways.
Class 3 is a supportive, inclusive and purposeful environment where pupils are guided to grow in independence and self-belief.
