Join us at our Open Evening

We have so much planned for term 2, including trips and experiences, sporting events and clubs, and chances to perform. The weather may have turned, but there is still brightness and positivity in our school, and across the Federation.

The School Council are really grateful for all of the donations for the Hope Centre’s Hope for Harvest campaign. They are very aware that people in our wider community may be struggling, and these donations can make a real difference. We know that the Hope Centre will be very grateful too.

Children and staff all found our Global Focus week about Gender Equality to be a very interesting topic, and provided lots of opportunities for thought and discussion.

This month, we are holding an Open Evening, to share our school with potential parents and pupils, so that they can see what we have to offer, and our approach to school experiences for our pupils. There is no need to book a place- please just come along and join us. Our Open Evening is taking place on Wednesday 9th November, from 6.00-7.00pm. We hope to see you there!

September news

It is so lovely to be back at school, and to welcome many new pupils and families. The children and staff are really enjoying their topics for this term, and we have so much planned, including visits, experiences and trips.

I was pleased to see many parents and carers at our Curriculum Information Sessions at the start of the term, and I hope that these provided a clear understanding of our wide-ranging curriculum and intention of providing a rounded educational experience for all of our pupils.

We were delighted to welcome Simon Aston, Northamptonshire’s Wellbeing and Online Safety Officer, who delivered some invaluable and informative sessions to our older pupils about keeping themselves and others safe online during the first week of term. Online safety is an ongoing focus across all of our year groups.

School applications for September 2023 are now open, and we know that choosing a school for your child is a big decision. If you, or someone you know, has a child who is due to start school in 2023, we invite you to attend our Open Evening in November, or get in touch to arrange a visit. Don’t forget that we also offer Nursery provision for children aged 3 and above. We would love to share our school with you!
