A very warm welcome to all of our children, parents and families as we begin another exciting school year at Yardley Hastings Primary School. I hope you have all had a wonderful summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for the term ahead. A particular welcome goes to our new families who are joining our school community for the first time – we are delighted to have you with us!
We have lots to look forward to over the coming weeks. There will be curriculum information sessions to give you an insight into what your children will be learning this year, as well as our parents' evenings later on in the term, which will provide an opportunity to discuss how your child has settled into the new academic year. We will also be holding a New Reception Information Evening for our youngest children's families.
I am particularly excited to share our newly transformed school library with you. The space has had a wonderful makeover and we are incredibly grateful to FOYS for their generous funding, which has helped make this project possible. We would love for parents and families to come and see it for themselves, so please do pop in after school on Tuesday 8th September to take a look.
As always, there will be plenty happening throughout the term, and we look forward to sharing lots of exciting learning, achievements and memorable moments with you all.
