Headteacher’s Blog – September Update
It has been wonderful to welcome everyone back to school and to see our classrooms buzzing with excitement for the year ahead. Our new pupils have settled in brilliantly, and it’s been lovely to see so many smiling faces each morning.
The first couple of weeks have been all about getting back into routines, building relationships, and setting the tone for a year of curiosity, kindness, and high expectations. I have been impressed by the enthusiasm of our children and the way they are already showing our school values in action. I have been spending lots of my time in the classrooms, getting to know the children and working hard to learn everyone's names!
We have had our very first 'Rocksteady' assembly, and it was great to see the children so fired up and excited about the possibility of joining their very own Rock Band! Years 3/4 are also looking forward to their 'Cavewoman Day' which links to their topic learning.
Over the next few weeks, we will be holding our first curriculum events for parents and carers so that you can find out more about what your child will be learning this year.
Thank you for your continued support as we start this exciting new chapter together. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead!
