Lost Letters!
Class 1 had a very important mission this week. The postman had told them that some of his letters had blown away during his rounds. The children went outside to look for them and managed to find them all! The postman was so happy with the class, he left them a present - 'The Jolly Postman' book!
We read the story and discussed the different letters and characters.

Bug Ball!
To finish our Topic of Minibeasts, Class 1 held a Bug Ball! They spent the week creating decorations, and cooking yummy treats such as puff pastry jam snails, ladybird biscuits and flapjacks made with honey. The children also created their own bug masks to wear to the ball! During the ball, the children enjoyed their treats and played different minibeast games. They finished by having a boogie!
