Our School Council

We are very pleased to have an active School Council consisting of representatives from each class in the school. The School Council meet regularly to bring ideas and concerns from the pupils for discussion.

Due to the current situation we are in, we have not been able to have face to face School Council meetings. Mr Baker and the school councillors had an online meeting via Zoom to discuss some important issues.

Pollution Solution

As a School Council, we have teamed up with ‘Friends of the Earth’, to help look after our environment.  The council have identified pollution as an important aspect to address, so they are being proactive in investigating our local area.   You may notice that there is now one test tube at the front of the school, and one at the back.  The councillors are testing the levels of pollution around our school.  After 2 weeks, they will send off the tubes for analysis, and this will produce a set of results, which they will then feedback to the school.  Following this, the children will come up with a plan collaboratively to address how we can move forwards and help our environment.
