Update 3rd July
As you have no doubt heard, the government have released the guidelines for the return of all children in September. We are currently going through all 35 pages (!!) in detail but are delighted that we will be able to welcome all children back in September. I will write yet another of my very long information emails next week with all the details but just wanted to reassure you that plans are well under way and you can definitely expect to send your children back at the end of the holidays. Things will probably look very much as they are now but full classes will now be distinct school families or bubbles with limited interaction between them. Start times and pick up times will still be staggered, as will break and lunch times. We are very much hoping to be able to offer wider wrap around care than we do currently. There will be no clubs, sporting fixtures or assemblies at least for the first term.
From September attendance will also be compulsory. Please talk to me now if you are already concerned about this and we can meet to discuss your concerns and hopefully allay any fears. As I have said, I will send the finer details next week but the main headline is we will be back!!
