Our doors are open, come and see us!

We have only been back in school for a few weeks but they have been very busy! It was great to see so many parents and carers at our Curriculum Information Evenings and we hope to see our Year 5, 6 and Reception parents and carers at their sessions shortly.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome all the Denton children to Yardley when we held our first Federation Sports Day. The day was huge success giving the children an opportunity to make new friends, see old friends and compete in a number of group events.

Our School Council elections have taken place this week. Any prospective candidates have taken a great deal of care over their manifestos and the children are really enjoying replicating our parliamentary process!

This week we are also looking forward to Modern Foreign Languages Day. The children will be in mixed aged groups and will move around the school experiencing a variety of different languages, including French, Spanish and Polish!

Applications for Reception places for September 2020 are now open through Northamptonshire Council Council. We are holding an Open Morning from 9.30-11.30am on Wednesday 9th October, not just for prospective families, but also for those already within our school community. If you know of any families with children due to start school next year, please tell them about our Open Morning and if they are not able to join us on that day, they are welcome to get in touch to arrange an appointment at another time.
We also have some places in our Nursery year group. These are available from the funding block after a child’s third birthday. Please give us a call on 01604 696268 if you need any further information. We would love to hear from you!
