British Science Week

Welcome to British Science Week in Class 4! Science Week is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths.

We started our week with a science investigation. Mr Baker asked us to answer the question ‘Which biscuit is the best dunker?’ In order to do this, we were given a selection of biscuits and put into groups. We then had the morning to plan our investigation, carry out our experiments and record our findings. It was great to have the freedom to put into practise all we had learned about working scientifically. We all had great fun and many of us demonstrated SMART values.

And which biscuit is the best dunker? Class 4’s findings reveal it is the Rich Tea biscuit!

We are looking forward to continuing Science Week with a visit to the Space Centre on Wednesday.
